LG Electronics (LG) today unveiled its modern, spacesaving Sound Plate (Model LAP340) at IFA 2013 in Berlin, Germany. The company is also showcasing a host of other premium audio visual products at the event, including the highly regarded NB4530A and NB5530A Sound Bars. Providing rich, deeply satisfying sound along with many convenient smart connectivity features, LG’s comprehensive lineup of audio visual devices deliver exceptional audio performance and convenience-enhancing functionality.

Exceptional Sound with Discreet Design
LG’s Sound Plate is a stunning new entry in the fast-growing TV sound system category. With a height of only 35mm, the slim, stylish device can be placed directly underneath any 32- to 55-inch TV to save space and goes well with a variety of interior decors. The new model is equipped with a robust 4.1 channel sound system complete with dual built-in subwoofers. Projecting full-bodied audio in multiple directions, the Sound Plate creates an incredibly immersive auditory experience. LG’s innovative Sound Plate also incorporates a neodymium magnet capable of producing powerful audio. Bluetooth support is also offered for easy wireless connectivity with smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices.
Rich, Compelling Audio with Stylish, Minimalist Design
The sleek NB4530A Sound Bar with its stunning minimalist design andblack and silver finish makes it the ideal complement to today’s thin-profile premium TVs. Featuring 2.1 channels, 310 watts of output, separate subwoofer and LG’s advanced 3D Surround Processor, the 35mm ultra-slim model produces rich, compelling audio.The NB4530A also supports HDMI with Audio Return Channel (ARC), enabling it to connect to a TV with a single cable. What’s more, the Bluetooth-enabled Sound Bar facilitates wireless audio streaming from smart devices — including Smart TVs. And to minimize unsightly cable clutter, the subwoofer unit is able to connect to the Sound Bar via Bluetooth.The versatile NB4530A can be wall-mounted or placed anywhere in the room, giving the consumer considerable installation flexibility.
LG’s NB4530A Sound Bar is the perfect match for 47-inch TV models while its nearly identical cousin, the NB5530A Sound Bar, is ideally suited to 55-inch sets. Earlier this year, the NB4530A received an iF design award and received five stars from What Hi-fi for its excellent features and ease-of-use while the NB5530A was honored by the Red Dot Design Award.
