Is the iPad mini retina display next?
The speculation comes from Taiwan where market observers said it is highly likely based on the development of past Apple products such as the iPhone and 9.7-inch iPad series. Apple's next-generation iPad mini will focus mostly on enhancing the device's display resolution, with a 2058 by 1536 resolution and 326ppi.
In other news rumours from the same sources said Apple will restructure the lighting of the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad from two LED light bars to one in order to decrease the device's overall weight.

iPad Mini parody commercial: We`re Apple. You`re suckers.
In a parody iPad mini commercial that aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, first came the iPod. Then a thinner iPod. Then an iPod you can touch. Then lots of other iPods -- ones that allow you to shuffle your songs, ones you can talk on, a gigantic one you can't talk on.
And today, Apple released a slightly bigger iPod that you can't talk on. Which, according to the video, pretty much means we're all suckers.

The iPad Mini and the 4th Gen iPad both new models just announced in October 23rd are available on Apple web site store for pre-order. The iPad Mini starts at $329.- and the 4th Gen iPad at $499.-
You can buy them also on November 2 in your favorite Apple Retail Store, starting at 8:00 a.m. The Wi-Fi versions will ship in Nov 2 and the Wi-Fi+Cellullar models will be available mid November. Learn more

Latest iPad Mini rumors: coming Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G LTE.
According to AppleInsider the iPad Mini might come in 3 versions: Wi-Fi only, 3G and 4G LTE,("GOOD," "BETTER," and "BEST,") in 2 colors black and white and in 4 storage configurations: 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB (described as P101, P103, P105 and P107 ).
However some comments made suggest :
Good, Better, Best refers to storage capacity not to wireless connectivity.
Is there are just two colors and 3 different capacities that leaves two types within each capacity. That seems to point to a WiFi and 4G LTE variety for two base carriers configurations. 2 carriers x 2 wireless types x 3 capacities x 2 colors = 24 SKUs.
3 capacities then: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
One person familiar with Apple's product inventory said the company's initial shipments suggest availability of the presumed entry-level "P101" model will be the greatest at launch. An inventory list that surfaced from a retailer last weekend suggested an entry-level 8-gigabyte model could cost around $249.
